IT'S SERVING: SELF-RESPECT.

Hey heyyy team! Happy Wednesday. We did another week omg! One week closer to the show. THREE WEEKS to be exact. Yes, you heard me THREE WEEKS until I debut my one-woman show. WTF. If you haven’t got your tickets already then what are you doing?! It’s going to be so much fun; we’re going to have such a laugh. Bring your girls, bring your gays. No men. Thank you.

I found myself this week truly embracing the art of self-respect. Taking control of situations that aren’t serving me and moving forward to ensure that I am putting my happiness above anything else. It’s been emotional. So many moments of doubting my self-worth and allowing myself to feel those emotions but also reminding myself that those feelings are temporary and just an extension of someone else’s actions, which do not define me and my value. You shouldn’t have to beg for love, to beg for someone to show up for you, to make time for you. It should be a given. Don’t EVER let someone dictate your self-worth baby, that is ALL YOU. You have the control. You have the power to create that self-value. You deserve it. You are fucking awesome.

We ran the show for the first time last week. Omg. It was crazy. So exciting. So scary. Anyone who knows me knows I can be sooo hard on myself and I’m a bit of a perfectionist. I give myself the highest standards, which can be great sometimes but other times they can be unrealistic. This show has always been a work in progress and will continue to be long after we perform it for the first time. It’s not going to be a finished product but HOW EXCITING?! So much has changed already and so much will change before the big day but WOW I can’t wait for you all to see it. I am so proud of it!!

April has felt like the craziest month ever and I’m sure it’s going to get a lot crazier haha. I’m going to soak up every moment during the lead up to the show, embrace the nerves and put on the most amazing show for you all. Let’s fucking do this baby.
