Hey hey team! Happy WEDNESDAY! Yes, I know. What do you mean a mid-week blog post? What is going on? Let me tell you. Wednesday is the new Sunday! All brand-new blog posts will now be coming to you mid-week! I’ve seen how many of you love to read the posts mid-week, as a little halfway point pick-me-up so I have listened and delivered. I will be seeing you all every WEDNESDAY AT 10AM for a brand-new blog post! Yayyy.

Okay, let’s catch up! Amsterdam. What a trip. We had the most amazing time, making memories to last a lifetime. Some of my favourite moments were: the Anne Frank House, Fabrique Des Lumières, cycling around Vondelpark (we both hadn’t ridden a bike in ten years lol) The most amazing restaurant, Lolo, the vibes were immaculate and the food was DELICIOUS. We headed downstairs and found the cutest photobooth, decorated with red faux fur and disco balls. Yes, I know. It felt like home. Fabel Freit. Wow. I was recommended this place by one of my gorgeous colleagues and it was so worth the hype Also, the boys who worked there were not too bad on the eye which is always a bonus. One night, we met a girl from Arizona named Cady whilst heading to the Red-Light District and she was the coolest. Her stance was giving bad-bitch and she just did not give a shit. We loved her. We were all fascinated by the scenes there. We saw people going in, getting rejected, losing their friends and asking us where they’d gone (yeah lol) It was an experience and one I will never forget. Love you Cady. We were pretty much in the heart of everything. We walked twenty-thousand steps a day but it just flew by. Everything was right in front of us which meant we could visit so many places. I feel so lucky to be able to have these experiences, especially with one of my bestest friends. You’re only twenty-two in Amsterdam once.

Once we had returned on Wednesday, I noticed a chill in the air. Summer is beginning to be put to rest for another year which I am quite sad about. This summer has been amazing and Amsterdam was the perfect way to end it. Memories for life made. Autumn I am ready for you. I can’t wait for the cozy knits to land back into my wardrobe and endless amounts of hot chocolate with whipped cream. Absolutely. Yes please. I do feel like I enjoy dressing for autumn more than summer, even though summer is by far my favourite season. Something about a bright coloured knitted jumper just makes me so happy. Blink twice and it will soon be Halloween. This past week has been chaotic but in the best way possible. I do feel very in control of my life right now, which I haven’t felt for quite a while, it’s so refreshing and exciting. Please let it continue haha.

Well, on that note, welcome to the brand-new blog post schedule. I’ll see you every Wednesday at 10AM. I hope you all have the best week. Stay tuned for day three of the Dam Diaries coming on Instagram and TikTok. What a trip. I miss it so much!

Big love ALWAYS,

Lucy Xxx
