SARAHS AND BRIANS.

Some days I feel like I am smashing life. Being so productive. Making the most of every day. Creating the perfect balance of work life, social life, career life, being-in-your-early-twenties-life. Recently, the rut has been REAL. I think it is down to the seasonal shift and the dramatic change in weather, where suddenly I can’t see six feet in front of me due to the fog. Over the past few days, I have made it my mission to get myself out of this rut and back to my usual self. These days are sooo common, I know I’m not alone in feeling this way HOWEVER sometimes I feel like everyone else has their shit SORTED and I don’t. I want to prioritise things that bring me joy, that make me excited, feel fulfilled and implement them into my daily routine as much as possible.

By the time you are reading this I will be back in London Town! Having a fun few days of both work AND play. Tonight (Monday for me) I am heading to York to go and see The Girl’s Bathroom LIVE. Sophia and Cinzia are our muses. Isobel and I ADORE them and anyone who has been following along on their socials throughout the tour so far, their outfits have been ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL. The silver, gold, glitter, pinks, yellows, sparkly heels and barbie inspired hairstyles have been everything and more. Mark (IYKYK) has been put to WERK. He honestly delivers EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. OBSESSED. I can’t wait to be in a room full of Sarah’s and Brians tonight (again IYKYK) and drink some yummmmy cocktails. Before the show we are heading to Lucia’s in York which looks so dreamy. I checked out the menu and they do a hot honey pizza which sounds DELICIOUS. I am sure I will post about it on my Instagram! Take a look if you fancy! *Just future Lucy popping in to say that the show was amazing. The girls looked phenomenal and we had the BEST TIME.*

Okay, let’s delve into WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOVING!

ACOWAR. I finished the third instalment on Saturday and WOW that ending. Again, I feel like this series does a great job at leaving you wanting more right until the very end. I LOVEEE IT. I’ve started the fourth, A Court of Front and Starlight, which I am sure I will fly through. I almost don’t want to keep reading because then the series will end. I’ve enjoyed it so much and I’ll never be able to top the feeling of reading the series for the first time.

Mozzarella. Need I say anymore. I can devour an entire ball straight from the fridge. Heavenly.

I have really been prioritising my skincare routine recently. Double cleanse, serum, moisturiser, sometimes partial to the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solution. It makes such a difference. Also, I have been drinking sooo much water and the difference is crazy! Listen to the experts, they know what they’re talking about!

Maxton Hall. I finished this series on Prime last week and I was HOOKED. Omg. I did not expect to love it as much as I did. The chemistry, the storyline, the tension. Ahhhh.

Little Fires Everywhere. Again, another series on Prime and I LOVED THIS ONE. If you know me, you know how much I love a plot twist, a slow burn, all the pieces falling into place. This series delivered all that and more. Reese Whitherspoon and Kerry Washington are sublime in this. FIVE STARS.

I hope you are all having a lovely week so far. Autumn has hit us with full force and I am so here for it. I’ve started planning Halloween. I know. Sis really said preparation this year. I can’t wait to celebrate with my girls. Have a gorgeous Wednesday.

Big love ALWAYS,

Lucy XXX
