Hey hey! It’s Wednesday which can only mean one thing. BLOG POST DAY! How are we all? I don’t know about you but I feel so disorientated at the moment. I had last week off, I went out and the clocks changed, I was back to the grind yesterday but why does it feel like the end of the week? I just can’t keep up with it all! Anyway, hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely week so far despite the drop in temperature and the darker nights making an appearance. Positivity is key during these times.
Let’s talk Halloween for a second. This year more than ever I have seen sooo many chats and debates surrounding Halloween costumes. Don’t be too slutty, don’t try and be quirky, put lots of effort into your costume, make sure you don’t put too much effort in so you don’t look like you’re trying too hard, don’t wear that it’s too basic, don’t try and be too different though. Like HELLO? Who gives a fuck? If you want to go all out for Halloween because it will make you happy and excited to get dressed up. DO IT. My god, I LOVE getting dressed up. It’s all part of being a performer from the age of five lol. We LOVE a good costume. Why would I let other people’s opinions of me stop me from doing what makes me happy? I did Pamela Anderson on Saturday night and it was SO MUCH FUN. The getting ready process was the BEST. Blasting out Halloween tunes, sipping cocktails (but I didn’t have too many before hand as I was doing a smoky eye with false lashes…you must plan these things) The point is, it made me HAPPY which should always be the case when you’re deciding what to wear. You may see on Instagram such a variety of different Halloween looks, feel pressure to present a costume that is deemed “worthy” of validation but I’m here to tell you that it’s all bullshit. No one gives a fuck. If they do give a fuck they need to get a life. It’s not that deep. It never was. Celebrate Halloween in whatever way you want. Whatever makes you happy. Don’t ever feel pressured to please other people because hunny it is IMPOSSIBLE.

I’ve started a new fantasy series. FOURTH WING. I am so excited! I’ve wanted to start it for quite a while and decided last Sunday that it was time. So far, I am loving it. I can’t form too many opinions rights now as I haven’t deep dived into it yet but I am so excited to GET STUCK IN. I am now a fantasy girly through and through.
My current podcast obsession is CALL HER DADDY. I’ve loved this podcast forever but Alex Cooper is really whipping out these guests left right and centre and I am HERE FOR IT. I love it. I did listen to the Miley Cyrus episode iykyk whilst on a wholesome walk around where I live. It was hilarious. Nobody knew what I was listening to which made it even funnier.
